Business Process Manager, Wakefield

The primary responsibilities of the Business Process Manager, Cultivation will be supporting the Corporate Quality Control Manager by evaluating, documenting, and constructing Standard Operating Procedures for cultivation processes, facilities, staffing, and business results.


  • Work with cultivation teams to document current business processes (i.e. annual grow plans) and solicit ideas for improvement
  • Facilitate and lead the process documentation. Capture all documentation for further analysis
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures to represent the various steps of each cultivation process and the incoming and outgoing boundaries of each
  • Recommend process changes to achieve efficiency improvements and to control variances at the earliest possible step in the process.
  • Finalize and document process improvements
  • Develop measuring and monitoring, conduct regular “process checks” for feedback on performance of the redesigned processes
  • Directly observe and refine redesigned processes to ensure it is achieving desired improvements
  • Educate users that are responsible for the operation and management of various business processes
  • Identify, detect, and create new business processes towards accomplishing work improvements for efficiency and quality
  • Audit processes and perform gap analysis to assess site progress

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in process analysis and documentation
  • 4-year Bachelor/Engineering or related field degree
  • Knowledge of food crops production and post-harvest processing, preferably with cannabis crops
  • Knowledge of cGMP and GAPs (Good agricultural practices) for food crops production (preferred)
  • Experience performing internal and/or external audits (preferred)


  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 25% of work time
  • Are at least 21 years of age
  • Have no felony convictions
  • Are willing to participate in an extensive background check
  • Are trustworthy and hardworking
  • Have a valid driver’s license
